Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 29, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how PingInsight uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites and application. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies — such as local storage — work the same way. We use them to keep you signed in, to remember your preferences, and to understand how the Service is used.

Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary — required to run the Service, including keeping you authenticated and securing requests. These are always on; the Service cannot function without them.
  • Preferences — remember choices such as theme and your cookie-consent selection (stored in your browser under the key pi_consent).
  • Analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage and improve the Service. We enable privacy-respecting analytics by default; this does not include advertising profiling.
  • Advertising — optional cookies used for personalized advertising signals. These are off unless you opt inby choosing “Allow all” on our consent banner.

Your choices

When you first visit, our consent banner lets you choose “Essential only” or “Allow all.” “Essential only” declines advertising cookies; “Allow all” enables them. Your choice is remembered in your browser, and you can change it by clearing the pi_consent value (for example, by clearing site data) to see the banner again.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the Service.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by the providers listed on our Subprocessors page, such as Google Analytics. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies, which are linked there.
