Why isn't my Rocket.Chat incoming webhook posting?
Confirm the integration is enabled and that 'Enabled' plus 'Script Enabled' (if you added a script) are set correctly in the incoming webhook's settings. PingInsight sends the standard payload Rocket.Chat expects, so a disabled integration or a broken custom script is the usual culprit.
My Rocket.Chat server is internal — can PingInsight still reach it?
The webhook URL must be reachable from the public internet. Put a reverse proxy in front of Rocket.Chat or allowlist PingInsight's egress so alerts can be delivered; an internal-only hostname will never receive posts.
Can I customize how alerts look in Rocket.Chat?
Rocket.Chat incoming webhooks support an optional transformation script and channel/alias overrides. PingInsight's default payload renders cleanly without one, but if you want custom formatting or a specific alias, configure that on the Rocket.Chat webhook side.
